Bouncy Castle Fun
Yesterday I took Ben to a birthday party for Amy's 1st Birthday. It was a lot of fun (and chaotic at the same time!). Mike needed the opportunity to do some wiring in the kitchen — Ben free! — so we took the ferry over to Langley and hung out. Didn't stay for the gift opening or cake though.. that just spells trouble for a 2 year old with no nap (and a very pregnant solo parent!)
It was Ben's first Bouncy Castle experience and was a BIG hit! I didn't go inside with him so the pics are mostly through the mesh.
Here are some kitchen reno shots, too :D SOON we will have pot lights. Lots and lots of glorious lighting! And lots of outlets!

Ben looks like such a big kid in the first bouncy castle pic!!!
I realized I don't have your email to respond to your question on my blog. We have a two story house so we have one timeout rug on each floor. I got the idea from Jon and Kate Plus 8. Our key was getting kid #2 to stay OFF the rug and away from timeout kid #1... it always ended in two kids pouting in timeout!
You look fantastic and I can't believe how time is flying!!
New Baby on the way very soon, wiring and renos, painting nursery :), big brother Ben-your life is full and wonderful. xxxxooo
