Ben's 1st Birthday Party!
Despite the chicken pox, we were able to have a small party for Ben :D
We had a lot of fun.. Ben was a great sport — didn't fuss once! The cake/cupcakes were really yummy, and I had a lot of fun baking and decorating them.
The decorations were all in blue, green and white, with some Sesame Street accents. Napkins, plates, balloons, streamers.. everything was colour co-ordinated! Mike was even making some balloon "animals" for the kids (and adults!)
Everyone was so generous and gave Ben the nicest gifts (thank you so much!). It was truly a happy day for all of us.

Wow! Ben's party sure looked fun. I wish we could have been there. Looking forward to the h party in a few weeks. That shall be fun.

1 year ago your Mom was hoping you would come out, and you did! You are a marvelous little boy, with marvelous parents.
:D It was a lot of fun.. wish you all could have been there! The Halloween party is going to be GREAT though!

I year ago today I was at the doctors and then the hospital (they thought I had hyper-tension, I didn't) and was to be induced in the morning! He really is a marvelous boy! We are so lucky to have him ;D
